I’d heard about yogurt in cake.
Never tried it until now. It works.
Really, really works.
The cake I made turned out so unbelievably soft and creamy.
A beautiful shade of milky white, and fluffy as though the egg whites were beaten like crazy, which they weren’t! I didn’t even use a mixer.
To get these results with such little effort is pretty darn awesome.

In other news, I stumbled upon a foodie exchange site (which sadly isn’t functional anymore), but I thought it was such a cool idea.
Basically you connect with another foodie/food blogger and send each other a parcel with local food stuff, small treats, and a handwritten note.
