I’d heard about yogurt in cake.
Never tried it until now. It works.
Really, really works.
The cake I made turned out so unbelievably soft and creamy.
A beautiful shade of milky white, and fluffy as though the egg whites were beaten like crazy, which they weren’t! I didn’t even use a mixer.
To get these results with such little effort is pretty darn awesome.
I used Ina Garten’s recipe from this site: The Kitchen Site recipes (Beautiful blog with some stunning photography!)
Give it a whirl! You will be pleased 🙂
In other news, I stumbled upon a foodie exchange site (which sadly isn’t functional anymore), but I thought it was such a cool idea.
Basically you connect with another foodie/food blogger and send each other a parcel with local food stuff, small treats, and a handwritten note.
If anyone is game, write to me and we’ll exchange stuff! Will be fun! 🙂

I’ve not been blogging for a while. But I am game to give this a shot!
Look forward to hearing from you soon.
Definitely! Will work this out 🙂
That cake looks comforting. My go-to eggless sponge recipe uses curd, and it works like a charm. Oh and I’m game for that foodie exchange. Let’s do it! 🙂
Oh great! I’ll just figure out who all are in and we can do it 🙂
Sounds great! Will wait to hear from you 🙂

Thank you 🙂 Do you use yogurt as well?
Yogurt in desserts and baking are absolutely delish — in place of butter, it keeps the baked goods pretty moist 🙂
And so soft! 🙂
that is such an awesome idea! makes food blogging so much more fun…
It is na? 🙂
sounds like a fun idea .. want to try????
Are you still in Delhi? Or have you moved?
